Hot temperatures Saturday with increasing rain chance

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Summer-like temperatures are in full effect this Saturday. The risk of rain will increase later in the day.

Dry conditions will be present for the first half of the day, according to Meteorologist Grace Lowe.

“Lots of sunshine before we have that increase in cloud cover,” Lowe added. “We have that storm system headed our way as you head to your late afternoon and evening hours.”

Temperatures on Saturday will have highs that hit the mid to upper 80s, which Lowe said is 10 degrees above average for this time of year.

Storm Team 2 says to expect a wave of showers and storms that will arrive overnight, temperatures can hit the low to mid-60s.
