Vehicle fire on I-26 causes lane closures and delays

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The North Charleston Police and Fire Department are assisting with a vehicle fire on I-26 E near Ashley Phosphate on Friday morning.

NCPD says lanes 2 and 3 are closed due to emergency personnel on the scene, causing traffic delays in the area.

Drivers can expect traffic delays for nearly four miles from College Park Rd to Royal Rd due to a vehicle fire on the eastbound side just west of Ashley Phosphate Rd.
