1 dead, 2 injured in Saturday morning crash near Billy Swails Blvd

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) – One person was killed and two others injured following a Saturday morning crash in Mount Pleasant.

Officers from the Mount Pleasant Police Department (MPPD) responded to the area of Billy Swails Boulevard around 5:00 a.m. for a crash with injuries.

At the scene, officers found one person who had died. Two others were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Mount Pleasant’s Traffic Division is investigating the crash.

The Charleston County Coroner’s Office will identify the victim when appropriate.
