Two accidents cause lane closures on Rivers Avenue and NAD Rd: NCPD

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — Several lane and road closures are effective Friday night, according to the North Charleston Police Department.

Several lanes are closed on Rivers Avenue eastbound before Otranto Road. These closures are due to a motorcycle accident. It is unclear if there are injuries from the accident.

N.A.D Road between Rivers Avenue and Snake Road is closed, NCPD reported. Officers are responding to an accident in the area.

No timeframe was given on when drivers can expect the areas to reopen.
