Crash blocks lane on US-17 in West Ashley

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The Charleston Police Department said a crash along Savannah Highway in West Ashley has one lane blocked Sunday morning.

According to CPD, a northbound lane of US-17 is shut down for an “unknown period of time.”

The crash occurred near Carolina Bay.

Police are advising motorists to use caution or avoid the area as crews work the scene.
