Police investigating suspicious death in Summerville

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities are investigating a suspicious death in Summerville.

Police were called to perform a welfare check at a home off Driver Avenue in the Corey Woods subdivision when the found they found a deceased person inside a home.

Law enforcement left the scene around 10:00 a.m.

No other details were provided. An investigation is underway.
